USPA NEWS - On 6 of August Andrzej Duda took Presidential Office, becomiing the 6.Polish President after 1989. He suceeded Bronisław Komorowski after his five years in Presidetial office. How would be rhe next five years?
Andrzej Duda was sworn in on 6 of August. After five years of calm cedency of former President Bronislaw Komorowski, Duda election is a big change on Polish Political stage. After 8 year's of Civil Platform rule, right-wing politician is taking one of the most important positions in Polish government. This situation is a last alert for Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz from Civil Platform, because of approching Parliament Election in October.
New President Andrzej Duda was born in 1972, he is the youngest Polish President ever. In 2005 he become a Lecturer of Law on the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He joined Law and Justice party in 2005 In 2008 he become undersecretary in office of former Polish President Lech Kaczynski(died in 2010 in Smolensk Tragedy). From 2011 to 2014 he was member of Polish Parliament and also a spokesman of Law and Justice. In European Parliament Election in 2014 he became MEP of European Parliament. He was elected in May 2015, taking 51,55 % of votes, beating former President Komorowski by 2%. How would be the new President? Will he change Polish society? We will se in the next 5 years.
